Restaurant Discounts for Boomers and Seniors

I don’t know about you, but I am not too proud to take advantage of any discount that is offered to me for being in the over-55 age group. I joined the AARP for that reason as soon as I was eligible. Other people I know are reluctant to exploit their advancing years. Big mistake in my opinion. Saving 5% or 10% just by showing your driver’s license is a sure winner to me.
Arby’s
A 10% discount is offered at participating locations for ages 55+. Arby’s has locations in 48 states.
Burger King
Offers a 10% discount at participating locations for ages 60+.
Chili’s
A 10% discount is offered at participating locations for ages 55+.
Hardee’s
Offers 33-cent drinks every day for ages 65+.
IHOP
A 10% discount is offered at participating locations for ages 55+.
Long John Silvers
Offers a discount for ages 55+ at participating locations.
McDonald’s
Everyday offers discounted senior coffee.
Mrs.Fields
A 10% discount is offered at participating locations for ages 60+.
Roy Rogers Restaurants
Offers a 10% discount to diners 60 and older. The age requirement may vary by location. Roy Rogers Restaurants is a chain of fast food restaurants selling hamburgers, roast beef sandwiches, fried chicken, french fries and beverages. It has locations in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Shoney’s
Offer’s a 10% discount every day for ages 60+.
Taco Bell
Free drinks for seniors at participating locations.
TCBY
A 10% discount is offered at participating locations for ages 55+.
Wendy’s
A 10% discount is offered at participating location for ages 55+.

There’s no reason to be too proud to accept discounts. That’s what they are there for. Personally, I’d love to get a young person’s discount!
