Boomer and Retirement Weekly Reader – Late on Easter Edition

I’m tardy with my favorite reads of the week. It’s been a busy weekend in a pleasant way, with the family around and lots going on at church.

Here are few things I read this week that might interest you as well:

For you last minute tax filers (I’m right there with you), Kiplinger and TurboTax give us the “11 Most Overlooked Tax Deductions.

If you want to save money on car repairs, I found  RepairPal, an interesting site that may help you do just that.

Something that made me cringe was the decision by the blogger at My Wealth Builder to return to the work full-time, out of financial necessity.

The My Money Blog has a nice summary of arguments for and against using extra funds to pay off your mortgage. I say do it.

Finally, my writing appeared in this week’s Carnival of Personal Finance. Check it out.

Enjoy what’s left of your weekend.
