Happy Thanksgiving 2009

We completed our long drive over the river and through fog last evening, arriving at our nephew’s house along with 20 or so other family members.

A core group of us are baby boomers sharing common interests beyond family. Sharing time together gives us an opportunity to consider what is important and what isn’t in life, both individually and collectively. It is always rewarding to observe the rapid re-bonding of distant cousins at these events. It is just one of the many things to be thankful for inside a family unit.

I hope that each of you have something special to be thankful for this holiday. Try to resist the temptations of Black Friday. Take a nice long nap instead.
